I’ve spent years of my life at different stages in service of Army Special Operations, the in-person fitness training space, and most recently, the fast-paced software industry.

I walk the walk. I manage a full-time corporate job, fitness coaching, marriage, and my own fitness goals at the same time. I bring the structure and know-how how of full-time military life and fitness training to the real world; one where we need to balance fitness along with work, friends, and family.

But isn’t working with an in-person coach a better option for me?
In many cases, yes.

I won’t be offended. I don’t rely on coaching for living expenses anymore, but I offer it for those who I genuinely believe I can help. If I don’t think online coaching would be worth your time, I’ll tell you.

Here are people who I will not work with:
  •   First-time lifters: If you’ve never lifted weights before, especially with a barbell, you should seek coaching from an in-person trainer.
  •   People with certain medical conditions or injuries: If you’re not sure what’s on or off limits for fitness training, always get clarity from a doctor or rehab specialist before starting a program.
  •   Vegans and vegetarians: I would never coach someone in protocols that I haven’t tried myself or understand thoroughly. This is outside of my realm of expertise.

1. Thorough evaluation and assessment

- Agree on a training protocol that’s right for you
2. Goal-oriented training plan

- Craft a program exclusively for you and your goals. No more following routines you found on the internet. This is your personalized workout, and it’s designed to catapult you straight toward your goals.
3. Just-for-you diet and nutrition recommendations

- No force-feeding yourself meal after meal of dry chicken breast and broccoli. No eating a steady diet of burgers, fries, and nachos until you’re sick either. We’ll incorporate the foods you like to eat that are healthy but also won’t shy away from a few IPAs on the weekends if that’s your thing.
4. Ongoing motivation, accountability, and guidance

- Traveling planned next week? Have a birthday party, bachelor party or wedding coming up soon? I’ve got you covered.
But can’t I just Google workout plans and diets for my goals?
Absolutely. 

This is where I started before becoming more immersing myself in fitness and getting coaching. Online coaching is for someone who has tried other programs before and is ready to take the next step to something more personalized. If that isn’t you, that’s cool, but I can’t promise you my price will not raise before you come back. See “Why get coached” above.
Speaking of price, how much does it cost?
In-person sessions once a week would cost $280/month.

With online coaching, though, I charge $180/month so my clients have a more flexible and affordable option.

That’s $100 in savings.
